Promoting Eye Care and Nutrition Awareness

Olive Branch HCI hosted a community conference in Guatemala to raise awareness about eye health and the role of nutrition in preserving vision. The event, held in a rural village in Guatemala where access to medical education is often limited, brought together community leaders, and local families for a day of learning, empowerment, and preventive care. Common vision issues such as cataracts and refractive errors were discussed, stressing the importance of early detection and regular eye exams.

This initiative reflects OBHCI’s continued commitment to holistic care in underserved communities.
